INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN & TEACHING
- Redesigned ALC's 40 hour sales training workshop to incorporate scenario-based skill development exercises, collaborative review activities and peer-to-peer performance assessments
- Co-facilitated the twice monthly, 5-day workshop
- Developed the learning objectives, practicum exercises and assessment measures for ALC's Technical Training School
- Wrote e-newsletter / website articles regarding customer retention, cross-selling and referral selling techniques

Moving into 2005, Advanced Laser Clinics experienced a winter of discontent: licensees were closing clinics and/or severing relations with the franchiser. Thus, to not find myself facing another (a second) abrupt change, I took the chance and put in the effort to find my next mission.
After a relatively short job search campaign, on May 25, 2005 I was offered (and accepted) the position of Instructional Designer with Group Health Cooperative.
My first day at Group Health was Monday, June 13, 2005 . . . the same day the employees of Advanced Laser Clinics were informed that the enterprise had been sold to a competitor and would soon be closing operations.
