Change happens . . .
Upon arriving at the office on Thursday, February 5, 2004, the Director of the Enterprise Program Office instructed myself and the other Training Delivery Specialist to devote that morning to mapping out the year's training calendar on the classroom's white board. After several hours working at said task, we were told to go to the Director's office for a meeting.
But instead of meeting with the Director, we found ourselves in the company of several other Technology Solutions Group team members and . . . the department's HR Advisor who handed each of us a folder containing our separation notice and severance documentation. So (abruptly) ended my tenure / career at Washington Mutual.
The path to my next mission . . .
. . . took six months, resulting in one job offer from Advanced Laser Clinics on Friday, July 30, 2004.
