My passion for The Prisoner regards how the premises and/or prose within the episodes . . .
. . . . elucidates the struggle between managing a safe, efficient Village, and, an Individual's right to freedom of behavior, expression and thought. I have no interest in rehashing what the fictious characters did inside their script-written world. Instead, I want to leverage how the themes within that Art from 1967 . . . can help us contextualize, confront and conquer those same Societal challenges in 2027. Oh, but, in tandem with exploring those eternal stuggles . . . we can also have some fun conjecturing how those fictional characters might have evolved if the program had met its original plan to produce 26 episodes. |
